Why Pango now watches your AI agents
A normal app asks permission once and then behaves in predictable ways. An AI agent decides what to do as it goes. It can read a file, install a tool or send a request, and you may only see the result.
Pango sits between the agent and your Mac. Before an action runs, Pango rates it from Info to Critical. In Protect mode it blocks High and Critical actions. In Strict mode it also blocks Medium.
What it looks at
- Files that hold secrets, such as .env files, SSH keys and cloud credentials.
- Commands that delete a lot, rewrite history or switch off Mac protections.
- Network calls that could carry data off your machine.
- Changes to the agent’s own settings, so it cannot turn Pango off.
